Alejandrina Vazquez, Mexican professional soprano and PhD student from the Gdańsk Academy of Music in Poland. Previously Vázquez got her Master’s Degree in Opera from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland and her Bachelor of Music from the University of Baja California in Mexico, she has had her vocal training with worldwide voice professors, such as Octavio Arévalo, Ignacio Clapés, Dianna Ruggiero, Patricia Craig, Olivera Miljaković, Halina Nadi and Ewa Iżykowska. She has toured internationally in Mexico, France, Spain, Cuba, USA, Poland, Rumania, Russia and Austria. Some of her concerts in México have been broadcasted through Public National Television (Chanel 22), the National University Radio Station (Radio UNAM) and the Mexican Institute of Radio (IMER-Opus 94). Vazquez has performed with several orchestras and has sang conducted by renown masters, Mexico: Francisco Savín (National Conservatory Symphony Orchestra), Srba Dinic (National Marine’s Symphony Orchestra), David Rodríguez De La Peña (Baja California University Symphony Orchestra), Miguel Angel García (Michoacan Symphony Orchestra). USA: Kurt Spranger (Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra), Rumania: Marco Balderi (Darclee Festival Orchestra). Russia: Jan Miłosz Zarzycki (Voronezh State Symphony Orchestra) Poland: Adam Klocek and Hermann Breuer (Kalisz Symphony Orchestra), Maciej Żółtowski (Toruń Symphony Orchestra), Jan Ślęk (Strauss’ Festival Orchestra), Ruben Silva, Jacek Rogala and Jan Miłosz Zarzycki (Łomża Chamber Philharmonic), Bartosz Żurakowski, Betsy Cook Weber and a Maciej Żółtowski (Kameralna Sudecka Orchestra), Marek Wroniszewski (UMFC Symphony Orchestra) Bartosz Olejnik (Baltic Polish Symphony) and many other famous conductors and orchestras.

In Mexico, Poland an USA, Alejandrina has been heard in roles such as Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte, Violetta in La Traviata, Anita in Anita, Serpina in La serva padrona, Rosario in Goyescas, Sour Gienovieva and Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica, among others. Alejandrina Vázquez has sung in oratorios such Faure’s Requiem, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, Vivaldi's Gloria, Orff's Carmina Burana, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Handel’s Messiah, to mention some.
My Interest
Alejandrina Vázquez has a very wide repertoire, from barroc to modern and contemporary music, she has performed opera, oratorio, zarzuela, musical theater, chamber music and art song. Alejandrina has a special interest in Mexican contemporary music, and she has world premiered original works by Santos Cota, Félix Mora, David Rodríguez, Enrique González Medina, Venus Rey Jr and Bryan Banks.

Where I live
Currently, Alejandrina is living in Warsaw Poland and performing in Europe. Some of Vazquez’ upcoming engagements are a CD recording in Poland of music by Jose Enrique Gonzalez Medina Mexican contemporary composer and a tour through Mexico in 2020.
